Countrywide Cottages ( Lorne Victoria, Australia )
Countrywide Cottages offers 4 star, pet friendly, self contained cottages. Choose from our
4 secluded cottages spread over 26 acres of farm and pristine bushland. Ideally located
in country Victoria only 25 minutes north of Lorne and 1.5 – 2 hrs from Melbourne, this is
the perfect retreat for your next holiday.
Each of our spacious cottages has 2 or 3 bedrooms to sleep up to 8 people and is set
among the gum trees for a truly relaxing country experience. Fully equipped with modern
facilities including entertainment and a well equipped kitchen, the cottages are
individually themed and 100% pet friendly.
Our large property is ideal for long bush walks, bordering the Otway Forest Park. We also
have enough room for a campfire outside your cottage on those starry nights, (seasonal
fire restrictions apply), and many of our guests have enjoyed toasting marshmallows by
the cosy fire.
Kids love our animals. They are welcome to help us feed our array of critters - the
bunnies, chickens, sheep and alpacas. Eggs are finders’ keepers!
One of our hidden treasures is our recreation area with its pioneer buildings. Built in a
rustic style, it offers a pool table and dart board, and ample space for a kick of the footy. It’
s also a great place for groups staying in the cottages to come together and have a
barbeque, with a gas BBQ and undercover and outdoor seating.
We are ideally located for taking a trip along the Great Ocean Road. The inland route
takes you to the Otway Fly, Lake Elizabeth or the 12 Apostles, and Lorne is just 25
minutes drive through the beautiful Otways away.

Beach House
Feel the warmth and welcome of Fiji with this wonderfully appointed cottage.

Full of Fijian artefacts and beautiful photographs of previous trips there, you will delight in
the cosy atmosphere.
Featuring two bedrooms, this cottage sleeps up to five people.
It has a queen sized bed in the Master and a set of bunks and a single bed in the second
bedroom.
Igloo:
"Di, you have created the most wonderful sanctuary for your visitors....from the gorgeous
bed linen to the amazing artwork and photographs..." Ben, Renee, Lily and Elan
Our newest addition and in honour of the owners' recent time living in the Canadian Arctic,
this cottage is custom built for wheelchair access. It has ramp entry, widened doors, extra
space around furniture, wheel in shower and wheel under benches/cook top. It also has a
washer/dryer and wheel under bench top trough in the laundry and gas log fire in addition
to the split air-conditioning.
Delightfully decorated in the blues and whites of the Arctic and dotted with Inuit art, books
and artefacts, this is one not to be missed. The Igloo features two bedrooms, sleeping 6.
The Master has a queen sized bed, a set of bunks and a double bed in the second
bedroom.
Villa:
Fabulous, newly renovated Villa, now taking in the spice of life as a Mexican beauty.

Tastefully decorated with artwork and artefacts from many trips to Mexico and beyond,
ready for you to sit back, relax and dream of a hot summer night.
One of our three bed roomed cottages, the Villa sleeps up to eight people. It has two
master bedrooms, each with queen beds. The third bedroom has two sets of bunks.
Castle:
Lords and Ladies, your castle awaits you.
"The Castle was fantastic…loved all the décor, especially the dining chairs – fit for a

Perfectly appointed for groups of up to 8, or play your own Lord and Lady in this very
popular cottage. The Castle is one of our three bedroom cottages which sleeps up to
eight people.
The two master bedrooms have beautifully appointed four poster queen size beds. The
third has two sets of bunks. A huge dining table cries out for fabulous dinners.

Tariffs: (effective July 2009)
Check-in from 3.00pm on day of arrival
Check-out by 10.00am on day of departure
(we can often be flexible with these times, so feel free to ask)
A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to confirm a booking. Balance is payable
on arrival.
Tentative booking can only be held for 7 days without a confirming deposit.
A $200 bond may be requested at the managers discretion. This is repayable after the
cottage has been cleaned to our satisfaction.
Standard industry cancellation fees apply to all bookings:
* 21-60 days prior to booking date - 50% of deposit non refundable
* Up to 21 days prior to booking date - 100% of deposit non refundable
* After arrival - 100% of total price non refundable
All tariffs subject to change
